Biography

Hisham is a seasoned corporate counsel with over 20 years of experience in legal, compliance, data privacy, and public policy.
Prior to joining his current role, he served as General Counsel at Samsung Electronics MENA Headquarters for over a decade, where he oversaw legal, compliance, data privacy, government affairs, and public policy across 22 countries in the Middle East and North Africa.
Hisham has also held high-profile advisory positions at organizations such as FRiENDi Group (now Virgin Mobile Middle East) and Arab Media Group (a member of Dubai Holding).
He is recognized as a thought leader in his field and has designed and implemented innovative and strategic compliance programs to help organizations navigate complex regulatory environments.
